What experience or person encouraged you to be an entrepreneur?

I've always loved building things, especially things that are challenging and that keep my attention. Early-stage businesses give me the great opportunity to work on challenging problems across the board, from business development to sales, to engineering and design.

What has been your biggest challenge in being an entrepreneur/startup?

The biggest challenge as an entrepreneur has been learning to move quickly and fail fast. I have always had the mentality that my work has to be perfect and with no chance of failing after release. For many reasons, this is just not feasible or justified within an early-stage business.

What are you most proud of?

I am proud that I get work on things I love doing with great and ambitious people.

What experience or person encouraged you to be an entrepreneur?

My mom and dad were both entrepreneurs to an extent.  My mom is a consultant for mental health services, a career coach, and an author.  My dad was a musician and a graphics designer. I suppose that was probably a big influence.

I had a lemonade stand as a kid, I mowed and weeded lawns, and into adulthood some of my first jobs were Amway and being a cannabis caregiver, which were both very independent.

What has been your biggest challenge in being an entrepreneur/startup?

I’m an introvert, not much of a talker, and feel awkward in most social situations.  Getting used to rejection, outside my social comfort zone, and dealing with many different personalities has been challenging.

What are you most proud of?

I’m most proud of our technology.  It’s my biggest contribution to the company, and has required a lot of me to produce.
